These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ai2excel (“Service”), operated by ai2excel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
ai2excel is a web-based application that lets you upload spreadsheet files and interact with an AI agent to perform Excel operations — including formulas, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data cleaning — directly in your browser. The Service is currently in public beta.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts & Registration
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@ai2excel.com of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload malicious files, malware, or content that violates applicable law
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to use
- Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of spreadsheets and data you upload (“Your Content”). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it to train AI models, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of Your Content. We recommend exporting important workbooks before closing sessions.
6. AI-Generated Output
The AI agent may produce formulas, charts, or data transformations based on your instructions. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated output before relying on it for business, financial, legal, or other critical decisions. The Service is provided as a productivity tool, not professional advice.
7. Beta Service
ai2excel is currently in public beta. Features may change, be added, or removed without notice. The Service may experience downtime, bugs, or incomplete functionality. We appreciate your feedback during this period.
8. Subscriptions & Payment
Free and paid tiers are described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy at the time of purchase. Prices may change with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by ai2excel and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary technology except as needed to use the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI2EXCEL AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ai2excel from claims arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Data deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
